Been here three times already, and their plate dishes are so good! I got the shredded beef the last two times and plz do yourself a favor and upgrade to rice and beans combo. One plate was enough to share for both my husband and I.

Tried the original and the 305 today. They were too dry and meat did not taste fresh. It’s been a while since I’ve had a Cuban style sandwich but I do remember it being better than this.

Tried a Cuban sandwich style restaurant called Cubanidad Express for the first time. Had the "305 Sandwich" which has Smoke Ham, Roast Pork, Swiss Cheese, Pickle, and Homemade Mustard Sauce. Could only finish a half sandwich. Plus I also tried their Sweet Coconut Empanada. Great Portions. Nice people. Food came out quickly. Will be back again!

I’ll just say it straight. Anyone who rated this 1-star bc of the food either has no tastebuds or it was during chef training. Amazing Cuban sandwich and the pastelitos are the stuff of dreams.

Excellent question! Ybor City, FL near Tampa is known for its Cuban and Latin America eateries. The city was founded in 1885 and the Executive Chef for Cubanidad 1885 was heavily involved in the Cuban/Latin food scene in Florida when he first moved to the United States along with being where he really honed his culinary background.
