We are Local Residents of Shingle town and have seen the changes Anselmo's has gone thru over the last several years. We used to Love going there for a special occasion when it was previously owned by Anselmo. Since the new owner has taken over, we have not had good experiences & we keep trying to give them a chance. Our last attempt has several Sunday's ago, when we heard they were open & serving brunch again. I checked their Website & even called to make sure they would be open. The Website showed they were indeed open for Sunday Brunch & listed the hours of operation, along with a posted menu. I also called early that morning & got their recorded message saying they would be open for Sunday Brunch & the hours of operation. We drove to the restaurant only to find it closed! An employee was on the grounds & he couldn't speak much English, but understood he had no idea of when or if they would open. This is No Way to run a Business & We are Not Happy with The New Owners at all! We will Not Be Going Back for more Disappointment! We tried Very Hard to Welcome them & Bring them our Business. This is Very Sad for our little town!!

Pizza night at Anselmo Vineyards under new ownership was just as pleasant as before. There was at least one favorite pizza that's no longer on the menu, but the selections we had were delicious. My only disappointment was the the grounds weren't up to their former beauty. Just don't seem to be a priority as they were before. Took a bit away from the ambiance, but still a joy to dine there and the staff were wonderful! Still recommend Anselmo Vinyards as a location for any special event!

What a beautiful place. The grounds are lovely. The restaurant (we sat outdoors on the patio) was GREAT. Excellent food, delicious wine and wonderful service. Thank you Lindsay and team for a lovely afternoon of wine, cheese, soup and mile high carrot cake. We will be coming back.

Our experience was delightful...Our son from back east wanted to take us out to lunch. A friend of ours had recommended Anselmo Vineyard but had added that it was expensive and the trip, long and boring. So I was on the defensive, driving into the parking area and seeing the chapel fenced off. As we entered the small dining area, I was completely put as ease by the Hostess and her presentation. I didnt feel intimidated at all. The prices were moderate.. I knew I wasnt in McDonalds, when the wonderful cheese plater arrived. Together with the great salads and wine we had a a wonderful meal. The dessert we chose was the most delicious carrot cake with carmel sauce..Customer service was great...not to mention the sparkling bathrooms which were so comfortable if they had a TV I would have moved in. (lol) Do not miss out, a great place to have fun and eat.
