Very cool place!! The indoor center was fascinating and full of fun facts. Kids would love it here! This place outside is huge so be sure and bring good shoes and sunscreen. We saw birds, rabbits and a road runner. Didn't see many lizards but we enjoyed what we did see.

I love jogging on the many trails in this park. There is so much wildlife and places to explore. It is also a great place to watch the sunrise using the paths that lead east of the park.

First visit to the wetlands was during Easter. It was amazing to see the water, plants, and animals in the middle of the desert. The walking trails are either paved or dirt roads and very easy to navigate. Dogs are only allowed on some paths. The breeze blowing through the reeds was beautiful. It was a great afternoon.

Such a wonderful place to escape the bustle of the city at least temporarily. If you want a nice place to go at night and look over the city the wetlands has a magnificent lookout area of the entire Vegas Valley. I love this place and will always come here to help clear my mind on any of the trails or the lookout. Also the photos are of the sunset at the look out I mentioned, this land is seriously amazing!

Dogs are not permitted in the Wetlands Park Nature Preserve. Dogs on leash are welcome in all other areas of Wetlands Park, including the Loop Trail, Duck Creek Trailhead, Sunrise Trailhead, Pabco Trailhead, and Wells Trailhead. Please do not bring dogs (except service dogs) to the Nature Preserve.
No. Camping is not allowed. This is a protected, delicate ecosystem. Come enjoy, on the trail. Technically, you're not supposed to be there after dark.
It is hot - and a desert. The water in the wetlands is not fit for human consumption. If you are out on a trail, its very easy to get dehydrated.
Not that I've seen, but then again there's a lot of wild life out there.
Please do not drop off animals at Wetlands Park. It is in violation of County ordinance to drop off or take any animals from a Clark County park. Please be aware, dropping off domestic animals in the wild can be damaging to the ecosystem and pets are unlikely to survive. I am lucky enough to live across the street from the wetlands park. The wetlands park is a 'wetland biome' as such, there's many differing types of variances within various biomes. They come in many variations and that is why I love them so much! As a biologist, I truly appreciate their diverse beauty! The different plants and animals they support make them especially unique.
