Tried to rent 2 jet skis for 2 hours. After 45 minutes of rental my son and daughter in law decided to switch as drivers. When my DIL tried to start, going like less than 5 mph, the jetski threw them off and the key that was supposed to stay on her jacket and come off the jetski, came off the jetski and her jacket. The key was supposed to float. Plastic clip on key was broken, and the key did not float. The owner wanted to charge us for missing key and loss of business, he cursed at my husband and threatened to take him to court for $10K. Owner offered to lower it to $390. We ended up paying $840 for 30 minutes of time. Buyer beware, bring your own equipment,. DO NOT RENT HERE!

Customer service was friendly BUT. We rented 2 water jetskis a few things I want to complain about but first I want to vent is how inconvenient it is to get to the lake and only one jet ski works then having to call and be told that they would need to confirm with their mechanic that the damage was not caused by us but I understand this is a one in 10 chance bad luck situation then having to wait close to a month for refund of less then half the actual rental price, also not to mention I had to be the one who called because they would not call me with UPDATES regarding my refund or the mechanic result ... Aside from this when I rented this over the phone I was not notified I would be asked for a 1,000$ hold aside from what I had already paid ( understandable insurance purposes ) but a heads up would have been nice. 2ndly I was not told to arrive 30 mins earlier to sign paper work and watch a short safety video again understandable but Communication would be nice considering they only allow rental Until 5pm. I asked for manager to call me twice and till this day have not received a call back and none is needed now since I now have my refund. This was my first time EVER renting jet skis and based off this experience I will never rent here or anywhere again. That is all.

We rented through their Bear River Lodge locations and had very mixed feelings about our time renting through TRAX. Machine wise we had a blast and the experience was a lot of fun. The 4 person UTV handled perfectly and was a comfortable and powerful enough ride to keep us enthralled all day long. The bitter taste that was left in our mouth though was from the lack of communication on where to pick up the UTV and where Bear River Lodge was located. We’re from out of town and could’ve towed the UTV from one of the locations near Salt Lake but the Bear River Lodge location said you could just drive the UTV from there so we were attracted to that. The location for Bear River Lodge according to Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Trax’s direction said it was located in Coalville 45 minutes from Salt Lake City. However, we pulled up to Coalville and where maps said “Bear River Lodge” and to our confusion and a store clerks confusion there was no TRAX anywhere near. Thankfully a farmer was able to help us and said that we would need to drive through Wyoming and then down into another part of Utah. When we finally go to Bear River Lodge the staff was nice but offered no help or compensation for the miscommunication. They just shrugged off the maps ordeal and didn’t seam to care. On top of all this literally none of their phone numbers worked except for one that no one ever picked up. Like I said, the experience inside the UTV was a lot of fun but getting to it was more of a hassle than we expected and I’m not sure if we would recommend it again.

We rented 2 Razors for a company activity from the Morgan location. We've done this before from a different company and were extremely disappointed with the service that Trax provided! We were running late getting the machines back and were willing To pay a fee for that, but were told we could not bring the machines back dirty and would have to clean them. When picking them up we were never told there was nowhere in Morgan to wash them, so when we called to discuss the fact we were running late we were told we could pay $50 to use the Trax power washer when arriving with the machines or drive down to Ogden to use a car wash. The guy stood there and watched as the machines were cleaned off.... mmmk. If we'd known all of that when booking the machines we would have kept them another night and brought them back in the morning! At the very least we could have planned a different trail to take. Overall, the machines were fine but the communication from the employees at Trax was mediocre. Next time we will just go with the company we used before and pay a few extra $$ up front to have a better experience!
