Beautiful park and area. The people that live in the nearby homes are lucky to have this in their backyard. Very nice and clean restroom facilities.

There is building in the area, so the trail we went on was a little confusing, but overall an easy hike with some great views! Definitely child friendly

This is a fun set of trails. If you’re riding your trusty MTB just be prepared to stop at a moments notice when you come across hikers that may be going to same or the opposite direction. Also a bunch of dogs, some off leash, so you have to throttle your speed a bit more than I’d like—it’s not a bike park, just keep that in mind. There are a couple wooden berms on the upper crest trail that are pretty cool too.

Nice trails for walking and mountain biking. The Bamberger trail is NOT a green circle level. 2 rough, rocky, steep hills. There are campsites and a GPS trail.

Yes it is
I don't think so. It's a parking lot with bike/hike trails. There are a couple camping clearings on the mountain, but nothing you can drive to.
Free you just have to reserve them
One thing the others have not mentioned is the proximity to the East Canyon Reservoir and the state campground there. Reservations for that campground is highly recommended, by not mandatory. Just beware sometimes Flock drives for sheep can be offensive to some, but one night when we camped, their bleeding was soothing.
