We love Daniel's Summit. They have a real rustic Log Cabin atmosphere. Great food, especially breakfast. The little ahop is very well thought out with essentials, art, crafts, books and other unique gifts.

Booked a queen cabin, supposed to be nonsmoking. They placed us in a cabin attached to one that seems to be occupied by a semipermanent resident that smokes in their (also nonsmoking) cabin. The cabin does not have A/C so we tried to open windows for airflow and can only smell cigarettes. Complained to front desk whom could care less. Update: we complained to a different person at the front desk this morning and they did seem to care, apologized and provided a discount. Overall not a great experience and we likely won’t return but appreciate that they tried to make it right.

We went here for work a couple of weeks ago. There was only us and one other group of people. It was at noon, and I was surprised. This place has the potential to be great! I thought the food was really good. As with many restaurants today they were definitely struggling with Staffing, but did what they could with what they had. The place was clean, and I would definitely go there again, and would recommend to others. Food was fantastic!

Positive: We loved the rustic cabin feel. Views from the room and balcony overlooking the forest, the cleanliness of the room and the location. All was superb. Negative: Nothing. Already planning on going back.
