Campground is closed, no word when it will ever open either. BEAUTIFUL, peaceful place to visit as a day trip though. I can only imagine what it looked like before the fire. Hiking, ATV, SXS, fishing, small boats are ok, and picnicing! No picnic tables or grills. Bring folding chairs, and pack out what you pack in!

The forest service website says it's closed. There was dispersed camping available outside of the campground before the fire several years ago. I assume you can still camp in those areas.

Sign said no camping and all the trees were torched... Apparently Smokey the Bear needs to talk to some people....

Amazing Scenery, beautiful reservoir. Overnight camping is CLOSED from May 2018 to September 2018 due to the 2017 Brianhead fires. Miles of burned trees surrounding a beautiful brook and meadow. Great paddleboarding spot.

Signs say Sep. 2018. We camped there this weekend next to reservoir, but weren’t allowed to. Pretty much all of the OHV trails are closed and gated too.

The primitive sites are large and close together. Could just use a few of them. Would work easily
