I wouldn't recommend living here. Especially if you have a pet. We lived here 2 and a half years and took great care of our apartment. We had one maintenance request during the entire time and it was to fix an issue with the ice maker. We never made any complaints etc but forked out nearly 40k to live here during that time. That's with a pool out of commission the majority of our time, rowdy neighbors and messy neighbors with cops frequently called. Again no complaints from us and never a late rent payment once. We were preparing to move out, provided 60 day notice as required. The main woman from the front office came and inspected our apartment a week or so before we moved and was raving about how well and nice we maintained it. When we moved in we paid a fairly large non refundable pet "deposit". We assumed being that this was non refundable it would apply to potential damages if any (our mistake). 30 days after moving out we receive a bill for damages of $60. When asking why our pet deposit did not cover this it was explained that this deposit is actually a fee and does not cover damages etc. So not only will this company be charging you an exorbitant amount to live here but when you move they will also nickel and dime you on the way out.

I came in and toured with Victoria she was great and very informative . Although I didn't rent at Madera she did refer me to a sister site and I did rent at Adiamo . And I'm so happy I came across her I will definitely refer all my family to Victoria I'm sure she can help them find a great apartment home.

I've lived here for 2 years and absolutely love it. The staff and maintenance are fantastic. Rafael does an amazing job keeping the property clean. And Victoria in the front office is very sweet and professional. Beautiful property and great location.

When I first moved in everything seem pretty great, everyone was super helpful, friendly and easy to get started. I wasn’t able to see my unit until the day of move-in, I saw it was not what was expected from looking at the model unit. SUMMERTIME* Energy bill would be in the high 300’s monthly and when I asked maintenance to come look at it multiple times they told me it was because I was in an apartment directly facing the sun so it’s a normal thing that my unit was so hot (The lowest my AC unit would go l was 87°). I found out by hiring someone outside of the apartment complex that my AC unit needed a new Compressor and when I informed The front office nothing was fixed or could be done. You would thing paying 2k month month I could have a working AC. Great location though and friendly staff.

Yes I agree ,its been a big problem especially during summer.I think the Health Dept shuts it down,but I try to look at all the positive things here,good neighbors,nice units,Most of the bad staff are gone.
