Caroline was extremely helpful in educating me on exercises I was unfamiliar with and explained them so I could understand them! I appreciate the time she took with me today. I highly recommend this location specifically!

Extremely disappointed in the level of member service at this facility. I requested to change my membership type and was told that the change was "all set" and would take effect the following month to lower my bill, but that did not occur. When I questioned the sales person they said that they never told me that and I would be required to sign a new contract for the change to occur. The location manager, who I have never once seen in the club, then gave me a different story stating that the rate the sales person had given me was not accurate and I would need to pay an additional fee to get the previously agreed upon rate. These inconsistencies prompted me to request a cancellation of my member, which must be done in person. I completed the required form 30 prior to my next billing and yet I have been charged again. I was so happy when I first started here but since have been let down over and over again. There is next to no staffing, which results in non-paying members using the facility on a regular basis and weights being left all over the place. Due to the poor staffing the additional amenities that they claim to offer rarely are available. Take extreme caution when dealing with this facility and get everything in writing.

It is not a bad gym, but there is a lot that could be improved upon. A lot. First off, there is a kids camp that takes place in the turf room during the busiest hours of gym time on Tuesdays and Thursday. I’m all for the kids. But it is late March and they can do camp outside. It’s difficult to understand when paying members work all week and can only go on certain days and the entire turf area is occupied, leaving no other space to do anything most would use the turf for. They are there from about 4:45 to 7ish. Broken dumbbells that need to be fixed. Locker room is very gritty and the lockers a pretty gross. Other than those few issues, I think over all this gym has a lot of potential and is still the best one in the area.

Used to be a very nice gym, and still is in many ways. Good variety of equipment and a nice spacious turf area. Now for the things that could be improved. The gym itself is reasonably clean but the locker rooms are often quite dirty. I've stopped showering there due to poor plumbing/drainage with a lot of standing water. It doesn't look like the shower curtains are ever cleaned or changed due to heavy soap scum residue on them (as well as the shower shell itself). Lockers are rusty and the floors starting to deteriorate. A lot of the cardio equipment can also be out of order for longer than expected times. The TVs on nearly half of the treadmills won't connect or have very fuzzy, unwatchable picture. The water fountain is often unclean and today had warm water no matter how long I held down the button. Investing in a model that has actual cold water and can refill bottles directly would be a smart and eco friendly move. Some of the staff are friendly while one or two seem cold and uncaring to their customers. Not all give a welcoming feeling. I know this isn't planet fitness but some of these people seem miserable to work here. I imagine it isn't the gym owners fault but their landlord's but the lines in the parking lot are practically erased. They ought to have a conservation with the landlord. No pride is taken in the appearance out there. I hope these issues can be addressed. Compared to the Manchester zoo epping is seriously lacking for a $30 or even a $20/month gym. I hope to keep coming here instead of joining planet fitness and I like the setup and gear but years of neglect are hurting the place.
