I am super picky about baked goods because my mother is such a good baker and this was the best commercial bakery I've ever been to. The scones are pretty, substantial and very yummy and the blueberry muffins are huge (and wonderful) and we were happy to find the yummy cinnamon apple pastries as well. We also enjoyed the multi-layer bars and lemon bars later. We purchased a loaf of the best cinnamon roll bread that I've ever had (and sweet for the eyes also). Lots more choices too. Pricing amazing given the super high quality. Wish this bakery was close to where we live so we could go back again and again.

I ordered a small double chocolate cake over the phone. They did an amazing job. It looks and tastes incredible. I wish I had taken a picture. Very happy overall.

How sweet can it be? This is by far one of the best bakeries I have been to in 48 states. Unimposing and similarly unimpressive on the side of Portsmouth Avenue sits a little bakery, I drove by 10 or 15 times going to or coming from work without realizing what it was. It just so happens to be the greatest little bakery I've found in the area. I'm partial to the blueberry scones and muffins. They have a marvelous little menu, so get there early. Once they're gone, you have to get there earlier the next day. Definitely not as expensive as I thought it should be based on the homemade taste. Although the name is Sweet Dreams, it's more like a sweet reality. I will be a continuing supporter of this small business. Thanks

Sweet Dreams Bakery is such a wonderful local bakery. Every time I stop in I find a new favorite treat! I love that everything is homemade too. Their muffins are always so fresh, and they have the perfect chewy/crumbly consistency. The pumpkin bread is also out of this world!! Love this place.
