We had a nice visit. Nice campground. Very clean restrooms and showers. The lake has been drained so they can repair the dam, so no swimming, fishing or boating. There is a small lake across the highway from the entrance. Also 10 miles from Ely and Ward Charcoal Ovens. Neat place to visit too. Beautiful area.

Nice quiet place to camp. We stayed here for one night last year on our way home. We liked it so much that we came back this year for 4 nights and brought friends. The sites are level with sturdy picnic tables. No utilities at the sites. Fill your water tank at the fish cleaning station just past the ranger station. Forget trying to bring monster TT or RVs, the campground road loops are a little tight but no problem for smaller RVs.

Stunning, the water is low but we have had quite a dry season. None the less nice camp ground and great fishing.

I was blown away by the beauty and cleanliness of this Nevada State Park. It was just a small sign off to the side of the highway about five to ten miles outside of Ely Nevada. This place is known for its awesome rock formations, great hiking, fishing and in the winter season ice skating on the lake. I was lucky enough to hit this place in the off season on a Sunday night otherwise I might not have found a place to camp. One of the park rangers told me they see 50,000 visitors a year. I suggest making plans well in advance if it’s a weekend in the warm season if you want to secure a good spot. ⛺️👍

Yes right on the lake even with showers restrooms and fish cleaning station ranger Steve is great
It's all first come first served. Usually people are pulling out on Sundays
Yes
Water was low. But fishing was decent memorial day weekend. We caught 3 natural rainbows , a bass & a small brown
It's 15 per night, that includes entrance fee. I really enjoyed this campground. I wish the lake was up. Don't step to close to the waters edge. The mud is like quick sand. It will eat your shoes.
I don't know about swimming, I went fishing and caught 5 fish in about 30 minutes, the limit, It was real muddy, close to the water I was afraid of getting stuck in the mud
Yes
