Like a museum! Super friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. It is the most pet friendly place I've ever encountered, I saw people sitting at slot machines with their dogs it was so cute! I will definitely go back with my dog! Cool gift shop but not your standard souvenirs all handmade Indian jewelry and other things pretty fascinating.

The rooms are nice and clean. This place is very quiet and allows pets. The Mexican restaurant is delicious. There is an awesome gift shop with all kinds of memorabilia and they now have a cute boutique coffee shop in the lobby! We only stay here while visiting Ely!

Vicariously Travelling

Our stay at Prospector Hotel exceeded expectations. Hospitality from the beginning with checking in, including staff throughout our stay made us feel welcomed. Room was clean, smoke free, and quiet throughout the entire night. Room smelled freshly painted and looks updated with a modern flair. The small details of our room further enhanced our stay, including the rubber duckie provided for us in our bathroom. The shower was refreshing and the water was soft. We enjoyed having dinner at Margaritas restaurant, and their margaritas are outstanding and pack a punch. Neither of us are gamblers but enjoyed the option in case we wanted to give lady luck a try. Pool looked sparkling clean, and inviting. Also included is a workout room. After leaving we saw the competition and quickly realized Prospector Hotel is the best place in town. Will definitely stay here again if ever again we're in this area.

Positive: Very friendly staff, great decorations inside. Very clean rooms with good layouts. The Mexican food restaurant inside the hotel had AMAZING food and great margaritas! Check-in included a free drink voucher for the lounge. Negative: Nope.
