Questions & Answers

There are 2 young red foxes roaming in our yard and neighborhood. The one I saw is skinny and maybe have mange. He/she looks very hungry. What can be done for them?

Unfortunately it is illegal to trap wildlife in Massachusetts for rehabilitation and as a result we have to wait until they can be caught by hand. Until they become weak they are very fast and agile which makes them pretty much impossible to catch. Feeding potentially sick wildlife sounds good in theory but It's better to not draw in a crowd of other animals to limit exposure.
