PAL is an organization which I have been involved with for over 25 years. PAL depends on donations to make the shelter run, which is not an easy situation in these trying times. The shelter owner has my upmost respect for her effort and 100% devotion to the animals which are lucky enough to stay in the PAL shelter until they can be adopted. So, after a few calls and messages (to which i admit i got angry over, having not received a call or even a message back as to a lengthy wait time) I was informed that all of us who gave a 1 star rating are all from people who were not eligible to adopt, to which I do not know their credentials for who deserves to adopt and who doesn't, but there was one reviewer who DID adopt and STILL gave a 1 star over a sick cat. So with that said, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Hopefully all the animals will go to a decent shelter instead of someone like these people who could be selling the animals to people who should not qualify

PALS is the best cat adoption agency in the area! I have adopted two cats from them and I love both cats very much. They are both very friendly and loveable. The staff is amazing and extremely friendly. I would not go anywhere else to adopt a cat. Adopt, don't shop! There are so many wonderful cats and kittens in need of good homes.

This is a wonderful shelter where the cats were treated with the utmost love and affection. Sandy was wonderful . . . she knew which cats would be a good fit for our family of four, so when we went to visit, we knew which cats to interact with more. As soon as we arrived, the cutest little black and white kitty greeted us so sweetly, purring and rubbing against out legs. We were in love! The shelter itself is very clean and so comfortable for the cats . . . a true kitty oasis! Also, the cost to adopt is much lower than surrounding shelters. We could not be happier with Charlotte (formerly known as Meisha). She is the perfect fit for our family! Can't recommend this place enough!
