Great hike to the ponds. Pasth is nice and wide. Could be a good biking trail also, but had some slippery areas. Will definitely be going back.

So my husband told me about an old quarry out in homosassa that is a bit of a hike....3.56 miles round trip that's including some walking around looking at everything. It is absolutely beautiful and seems to be well kept up. The water is extremely deep but very clean. This is definitely gonna be a new great spot when I just need to get out for a quick hike , and my son loves it because he can swim . All in all it is definitely worth checking out and has a little history behind it which gets kids interested in learning when they can actually see it.

The roads are hard enough most areas to take a wheelchair some dirt but mostly compacted lime Rock not actually super friendly for wheelchairs I was in one for a while myself I understand
