Really want back and forth as to whether this should be a 3 or 4 star rating. The deciding factor was people and atmosphere. The day we visited they were working short handed. Their were mistakes but the staff was going above and beyond trying to ensure a great experience. The location is second to none. The view overlooking Lake Pierre is gorgeous. The restaurant and lounge are beautiful. The food needs some work. Both my wife and I ordered the burger, fries and Pepsi. The Pepsi was almost undrinkable. A good cleaning and a filtration system is in order. The burgers which were supposed to be cooked to medium were well done and the oil for the fries probably needed changing. Even with the short comings on the food the dining experience was very good. I hope some small tweaks to food prep will improve the overall experience. I look forward to our next visit.

The restaurant is nice. This place is a great venue for large parties of any kind. They have lodging, a great chef that can cook anything from fried chicken to Filet Mignon. Give them a call, get a quote on your large events.
