Although I have moved away from Citrus County, Shelly's still remains at the top of the list as far as FRESH and LOCAL seafood goes in Florida. I highly recommend supporting this family owned small business and checking out the quaint town of Homosassa!

Best fish market ever. Fresh local fish. Great variety of shell fish. Shrimp, clams, oyster, stone crabs. Delicious variety of fish dips. Don't go anywhere else for your seafood.

I've always loved this little place. They are so nice and helpful! Place is soooo clean and well organized. Seafood is always beautifully fresh and delicious. The many different seafood dips/spreads they have are awesome! Place is very popular. They also have a beautiful view on the Homosassa River. **There is a food trailer to eat at across from the seafoodmarket. We were originally going to eat there before we bought our seafood. I was standing behind a customer who had been standing there for a while without being helped yet. We personally stood in line for almost ten minutes with no one ever seen to take our order. So we eventually left. The menu sounded yummy.

There are a million ways but my favorite is with butter and garlic until they start to float or turn pink it's only a few minutes and then just let them sit in there some people put them on ice and then put Old Bay on them that's excellent too but I like them in the butter and garlic over linguine yum yum ain't nothing better
Ummm I'm not sure exactly what is was today I didn't look. But I had the shrimp tacos today and they were 11 dollars even Steven. And usually I think the crab is about the same for a pound of snow crab.
Great fresh seafood, clean and excellent staff. I know they have the dip, and sad to say the little restaurant out side is for sale I was recently told.
Do you mail any of your seafood out of state ? I love your seafood but, I'm only there once a year. I'm specifically, interested in stone crab claws !
