Troop 51350 earned their Junior level horse riding badge on our visit to Northwood Farms. The girls loved learning about the feedings, care and saddles for the horses. Their favorite part was riding and the wished that part was longer. Highly recommend!

North Road Farm is a very well run stables. Jan is the kind a of instructor you would want to teach your kids. Kind, patient and with an emphasis on proper techniques. The horses are great also and very well cared for.

I took a beach ride with Jan on Sunday and it was the most amazing experience I have had while riding. The horses were so well behaved and collected on the beach and seemed to really love the water. Even though I have riden with Jan before and her horses it was still exciting and a new experience that everyone should have a some point.

We had a semi private group beginner lesson and the experience is great! They have a lot of training horses to choose from. They are all very friendly and easy to cue. I chose Chance to be my buddy and he is sweet! Jan knows how to teach and made the class full of fun. She also took a lot of photos and videos for us. Anyway we enjoy the class and would want to learn more skills for sure!
