Our first time here. Friendly staff, everything is clean. Nice place. It is on a hill so there is a lot of up hill walking, and they don't do golf carts. So anyone with bad knees, beware. It also had stuff for kids, but it was definitely more of an "older crowd" kind of place.

We really enjoyed our two day stay here. The campground owners were super friendly. The laundry is small, but clean and airy, and there was plenty of hot water in the showers. The campground is on a slope but each campsite appears to be level. We were in site 32, which was completely level. The slope actually gives each site more privacy so you didn't feel like you were too close to your neighbor. It rained while we were here so we didn't get to utilize some of the features, such as a walking trail, but the campground is very close to Gardiner, Augusta, and Manchester. We camped here in a class B van.

Nice park over all. So much nicer to feel like you are in the North woods rather than a sterile RV park environment. Stayed her 2 years ago for a bit and the capital improvements are noticeable, roads, pool, etc are all in great condition. Don't stay here if you want bars and noise non stop, the morning and evenings are so quiet you can hear a leaf fall. Great for singles to families, plenty to do if you turn off the TV and go do it, kayak rental, fishing nearby, hiking, what ever your fancy you can do it at this campground. Very canine friendly too, owners have plans to enlarge an already good dog park.
