I highly recommend UBE for physical therapy. I worked with two of their PTs, Ryan and Alyssa, and both were great. Poor Ryan had to deal with me post-injury but pre-surgery and she tried everything to help me heal, but surgery was the only answer. I had a hip replacement in January 2022 and started seeing Alyssa in March 2022. My last day was today and I can do anything I did before my injury - yoga, rowing, stairs, hiking, driving a clutch! Alyssa paid attention to what I needed and designed the perfect program to get me where I needed to go. I'll tell everyone to ask for UBE for physical therapy! Thank you for all you did to make me whole and happy again.

Alyssa is a great PT! She is a great person to work with, and she's able to work around my schedule. She is very creative with making exercises for those who have certain mobility issues. I have used her with multiple injuries several times and she has never failed me. Her programs are elaborate and very well thought out and I enjoy working with her. I will continue to use her as my PT in the future if needed.

Doing PT here. Awesome Place awesome people great workout. Had several brain stem stroke five years ago. Lost my left side completely. Did my regular physical therapy after rehab. Wanted to continue with physical therapy so started seeing Katie. Cannot even begin to tell you how awesome she is and the gym I am walking and using my arm so much better. Back to golfing 9 holes also started walking doing the 9 holes. UBE is wonderful all the people working there are very friendly and help you if you need it. Great place to go for getting in great shape.

When you turn onto Mariaville Rd from Rt 1A, you will see Boggy Brook Rd immediately on your left followed by a small Dead River station. The driveway to our business is the very next driveway after the Dead River station. If you cross over railroad tracks you have gone too far. When you enter the driveway to our location drive all the way in and you'll see our sign and ramp to enter the building.
Yes! We often see individuals for quick sessions that may not require a full plan of care or multiple sessions. These sessions are often quick 15-minute sessions. We also can do a full course of physical therapy with self-pay if you don't have insurance. Our self-pay rates are posted on our website (ube-more.com) on the physical therapy page. Most likely yes! We contract with the majority of insurance carriers in the state, but feel free to contact our office (207-992-4000) to confirm that we are In-Network. Unfortunately, we do not accept MaineCare/Medicaid at this time.
Yes! We have a drop in rate of $12 for the gym. Come on in and we'll just need you to sign a waiver. If you're in town short-term, we offer punch passes as well.
You would probably want to do a general membership, which is $65/month. It would be best to talk to our head trainer or do a consultation with our physical therapist to direct you on a targeted exercise plan for you.
