McKees Rocks has an overall undesirable reputation. It's great to have nice shops in the area that offer good food and friendly service. Today, I ordered a spinach and feta stromboli through on-line ordering. I live about 3 minutes away so I stopped for gas on the way. I thought I still got there early because it looked like they were just putting my order in the oven. When I got to the counter, I told the guy that I think that is my order that they just put in the oven. But, he apologized and said when they started to make it, they discovered they were out of spinach so they ran over to the store to get some. Wow - no apology necessary! I did not expect that. I thanked him and I'm writing this nice review too. The food that I have ordered has always been delicious - pizza, bread sticks, calzone/stromboli. The friendly service is a great bonus.

The Steak Salad has little steak on it like they trying to make it stretch and that Salad isn't cheap its like $14 or $15 something, It was horrible. Then they had me pay for my stuff twice. They told me that they reverse the funds and it should be back like 3 business days. It was over a week still didn't recieve it. I called talk to Management and they was all rude especially the owner. They kept hanging up on me telling me to dispute it and leave them alone. As a customer I shouldn't have to do that. They could have treated me with respect and offer a deal or some kind of strategy to a unhappy customer. They didn't and to me that's horrible management!!!!!! So that's why I go to Doughboy around the corner by Speedway gastation now. Their food is way better especially their Steak Salad check them out!!

I ordered breaded wings from the location in mckees rocks they first gave me fresh wings when i reached out via phone to them they were very rude and refused to accomidate in any way actually hung up when I called back and asked to to speak with a manager she was also rude telling me she doesn't have time for this and they have no control over the website and she doesn't no what i want her to do I then explained that the receipt has breaded wings on it and Zackery took the order she stated that Zackery was the owner and she's not dealing with me I will never ever give them another dime of my money

This has to be one of the best pizza's I've had in the Pittsburgh area in a long time. No cap. The pepperoni is the kind that cups up when it's cooked. Not that thin stuff you get everywhere else. I have eaten more pizza than I'd like to admit. Tried em all. You can really tell the difference in Gavino's quality. Quit reading this and order a pie, immediately.
