Loved this place. I’m getting ready for a half marathon and needed a new pair of running shoes. I got helped by Casey who has worked there for 4 years. She was very helpful and friendly. She seemed very knowledgeable about running and sports and explained which areas of my feet might need extra support. She found a couple options for me to try and I found a great pair of running shoes with some supportive inserts. Overall I loved the store and the service I received. I will definitely return here when I’ve worn this pair out.

My partner and I are currently training for the Chicago Marathon. After a recent long run in old shoes left both of us hobbling around the house, we decided to swing by Marathon to help us get squared away with the right next pair. The staff at Marathon is incredible: knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They began with a gait analysis to see how we walk and run to help identify which shoes might be the best fit. They listened carefully to our experiences with other shoes, both good and bad, and made recommendations as a result. Then, they pulled a couple options to try out and encouraged us to run a bit to get an initial feel. We both walked out with great shoes that really match our stride. They do have a generous 30 day return policy (even for used shoes) but after my first two runs in my new pair, I know I won't be taking advantage. If you're in the market for a new pair of running shoes or looking for a thoughtful gift for the runner in your life, you can't go wrong with Marathon Sports.
