Koopman Lumber and Hardware in Uxbridge, Northbridge and Grafton, Massachusetts (3 locations) is my favorite go to for everything. The professional sales staff working at Koopmans are smart, courteous, and helpful. Top notch all the way. And Koopmans stores are fully stocked with products.

In my opinion this is the best hardware store in central MA. I frequently visit the rental and power equipment department and the service and knowledge from people like Curt is always top notch. If you live near Grafton and need Stihl, Honda, etc serviced this would be a good place to go. Renting equipment big and small has also been painless here. My Bobcat Skidsteer rental in particular went extremely well and the staff were very accommodating around pickup and drop-off times. The store itself carries a thoughtful selection of very good brands across all departments and clearly some care and thought has gone into this location. More importantly, things are kept tidy and clean. Also happy with the quality of grass supplies which have been fresh and clearly don't sit around too long. Nothing worse than nurseries and hardware stores that carry old and expired lawn care products. Overall, this is my continued choice for buying equipment, supplies and hardware in the area.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If Koopman‘s doesn’t have a particular product, they tend to be knowledgeable about it anyway. And, they can order it from their distributors. I haven’t had a miss yet with Koopman‘s. I highly recommend them to anyone.
