Great Christmas tree farm and adorable shop with handmade crafts, wreaths, and more. Great prices, too. Thank you, Higgins!

Gone way downhill. We’ve been going to Higgins for over 22 years and have the mugs to prove it (except the last couple years when they ran out of mugs or didn’t get them in at all.) It’s sad to see what Higgins has become. What used to be a vibrant tree stand with lots of trees and wreaths of several varieties and sizes has become a tiny operation with a mediocre assortment of all the same type. It’s a sad looking operation now and nothing like it used to be. Yet, the prices are still VERY high, and even higher this year. I just paid $140 for a balsam fir (no Frasers there). It’s the Saturday after Thanksgiving and they tried to claim it’s because of the shortage, but plenty of friends have gone to other places in the area where they found an abundance of trees to chose from—including Fraser firs—and didn’t pay as much as I did. It’s not like we waited a week or two before Christmas. It’s the day after Black Friday. I feel as if the owners don’t really care anymore and are just limping their way to retirement. Still, they continue to charge for a quality and selection that’s just not even there. The only reason I didn’t turn around and leave is because my daughter is home from college and she insisted on holding up the tradition of a Higgins tree. Next year I’m insisting we go elsewhere. This is the third year in a row it’s been mediocre. That’s no fluke. As for this year, I’m trying to figure out a way to go to another tree place and swap out a better tree when my daughter heads back to college. That’s just how disappointed I am.

We've been getting our trees here for years! Very nice and helpful staff. Always a good selection of nice trees to pick from and they seem fresh. You get a free mug each year with a different design and the year. Cash or check only, but they have an ATM onsite.

trees are priced high, but worth it, but when you run out of the FREE mug on december 11, 2018, which i look forward to every year. is very dissappointing.

They were when I got my tree about 2 weeks or so ago, but it looked like they didn't have many trees left at that point.
Anywhere from $5 to $200. Depends on height, variety, etc. All trees are individually priced.
All Higgins trees are pre-cut.
Opens the day after Thanksgiving.
