I should start by saying I do love my dress that I bought from vows, but there were some issues. I’ve never bought a wedding dress before so maybe it was my bad, but when I said my budget was $2000 I would think that the salesperson would ask if that would also include alterations. I didn’t realize how expensive alterations would be. That wasn’t my main issue though. My biggest issues were being told one thing by the vows salespeople and then the complete opposite by the seamstress vows recommended. I didn’t want to have to wear a strapless bra with my dress and the salesperson said I wouldn’t have to with my dress because it has so much boning. Being a 36D that was music to my ears. Then when I went to pick up my dress I tried it on with a veil and asked this other salesperson about the straps cause they weren’t laying symmetrically on me. She said the seamstress would be able to fix it. I went to the seamstress the next day and when I asked about the straps she said she couldn’t do anything to them and that I’ll have to wear a strapless bra to make them sit where they need to be. This was very frustrating. I understand there isn’t a seamstress at vows, but maybe don’t promise things that you’re not sure of.

Vows is the BEST! I bought my dress in June 2021, and it was such an amazing experience. The entire staff, especially Mandy, were truly incredible and very sweet. They really listened to my vision and made it a blast! After going to 3 other bridal shops, Vows was by far the best experience. If you’re looking to find the dress of your dreams and have fun doing it, look no further. It was truly one of the highlights of wedding planning.

I went to vows in 2019 to find a wedding dress for my 2020 wedding (which was postponed to August 2021). For two full years the dress remained flawless. In 2019 they shipped it out to California for me as well. VOWS is amazing!!!! Catherine helped me find my dress I said yes to! Lexi helped me out at the beginning and at checkout! Since I was young and watched I Found The Gown on TLC I wanted to come here. My mom and I traveled from CA to shop for my wedding dress! I’m so excited to wear my dress at the wedding. The entire experience at VOWS was incredible!

Hello Joanna, For many of our gowns, we have two sizes available for brides to try on. Depending on the dress our sample sizes go up to size 26. I hope this helps and we look forward to you coming in! Thanks VOWS
Yes, they do
You need to make an appointment to pick up and try on dresses. Once there, they take your temperature and have hand sanitizer available everywhere! Also, they ask that every customer wears a mask except in one open area where the bride can social distance and look at their dress. Finally, there is limited capacity.

Dresses normally take 4-6 months to be made and then at a minimum alterations are about 3 months. Your best bet is starting now.
