Great selection of books, including new books, movies, CDs & more. The staff are very helpful, friendly & work hard to provide great service to thousands of people; visitors be patient. Inside a nice cafe: hot drinks, sandwiches, soup, etc. Parking offered is metered.

Beautiful library! There is a great selection of books and the library building itself has a rich history and yet feels modern. Most of the staff is polite, but there are some who shouldn't be in this profession. Rude, loud, and I think other reviews have touched on this issue as well. I've been coming here since I was a kid and the kids section is great! The teens section can be filled with smelly, loud, and rude middle schoolers but thats not the libraries problem, just middle schoolers. Overall, its a great library but some of the staff can be unprofessional.

On 12/28/18 we have story time for babies who are not walking at 11:00am. We have Life Sized Candy Land starting at 10:00am for children of all ages. Visit our website for all program information. www.watertownlib.org
There is a parking space behind the library but you can also park on the street side too.
