I’ve been riding since I was 5. I’ve been to mountains across the country and dozens here in the northeast and many ski shops in between. Strands is the best of them all. They know their equipment, they listen, the price is always fair. Unless disaster strikes and I need gear out of state due to an accident I will not buy my gear anywhere else. Can’t say enough good things about the place, family owned and a staple of the community.

Went into Strand's hoping to find ski boots. For years I've suffered in agony with rental boots never fitting my foot correctly (due to large and muscular calves). I was helped by John who was the kindest, most patient man. He spent over 2 hours adjusting and adapting a boot that would fit and not cause pain. He heated and molded the boot, customized the toe area, added padding in the insole, moved the buckle, etc. He kept making adjustments and then having me try them and walk around. I can't thank John enough and I just wish I had gone to Strand's and purchased boots sooner. I used my new boots today and it's the first time I've ever skied and not had some form of foot or calf pain. Thanks John and Strand's! I'll be back to buy skis next!

Always fun to get pampered by Josh and Leif at Strands of Worcester while being fitted for Strolz ski boots as they insist your comfortable and enjoy the experience. Like a fine wine it is so worth the wait to get it right and once they start working with you there is no time limit only that your completely happy and have a smile on your face as you leave.
