I came to this cinema with a Deaf child and was extremely disappointed to find out that they do not provide any kind of captioning devices for Deaf and hard of hearing customers. We were given the option of using assistive listening devices, however this is not a reasonable accommodation for all Deaf people (including the child I was with). The employees handled it well, were apologetic and offered us free tickets. However, good customer service cannot and will not excuse ADA violations. This theater needs to get with the times and provide Captiview, on screen open captioning, and/or caption glasses for its Deaf and hard of hearing customers or customers with auditory processing disorders. It’s 2022. Shameful.

It looked amazing, loved it!! Best seats ever!! You should go there. Best service and best popcorn and drinks. Thank you for allowing Learning Prep School to watch Space Jam there. We all enjoyed it.

Had my son’s birthday party here. A total private theatre that I don’t need to worry about kids laughing and talking aloud. Love their fresh pop corn and drinks. We can set up table and bring in our own cake. Owner David is super nice. Parking is free on Sunday.

First off, when you drive to the West Newton Cinema, it says on the front what movies are playing. Also, if you search up on the internet, “West Newton Cinema Showtimes”, they’ll come up. If you want to find out about stairs, just look at the pictures of the theatre on the internet. By the way, at West Newton Cinema, there are stairs, but there are some theatres in that cinema that are on the first floor, and you don’t need to walk up a flight of stairs to get to. Hope this will help.
Be careful of the bank lot. If the bank is open, they will tow.
Google West Newton Cinema
Yes
No clue, they have a website though that has showtimes.
From the website: $10 for Seniors 65+ Sun - Thurs No senior discounts available on holidays or holiday evenings.
Call them
If it is a weekend, 10 minutes early. For a weekend show I'd come about 10 minutes earlier than that. However, the shows start right on time - so don't be late!
Yes! Fandango or westnewtoncinema.com.
If you check the website, they usually post the next week's schedule, so you can see if the movie you want to see is no longer being shown and know you have to get there by the last day of the current week's schedule.
This theater does not do specific reserved seating. Be early if you want to guarantee sitting together.
Check their website
But you can buy tickets online now. Also, they have an ATM machine.
Call them and ask.
Yes, but call and ask about drop off, since they don't have parking
You do not!
Likely a ahandicapped curbside spot. Not sure about cash only
It's a very old theater and probably something else before that. They just didn't think of it. I had thought when they invested in digital projectors several years ago, they might put in an elevator. Nut I'm sure the cost was prohibitive. When I bring my Mom to the theatre, I always call to ask what films are playing on the 1st floor.
