The place is beautiful. It has a great atmosphere. The staff is very polite and accommodating. From the items we ordered I would say the Carne asada itself was tender and flavorful. The brussel sprouts and halomi were good. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits were large. The staff and owners are doing their best to reopen under this new normal.

What a great little restaurant. Went for dinner and menu choices were great - ended up having two appetizers instead of dinner. Atmosphere was really nice with a fireplace and candle on the table. Best of all was the outstanding service from Hannah!!!!

A very homely cafe.. The staff is friendly and their recommendations are good. We tried the avocado toast, the Panini and the wrap. Everything was cooked perfectly and well served. Could be a little pricy for a cafe but the food and view makes it worth. Portions are decent and the location is very much accessible. Worth a visit definitely.

Absolutely delightful! The meal was amazing. A fresh garden pasta bowl that filled me up. A bluegrass band was playing nearby which made a perfect environment to relax after a hard day. The manager was over the top helpful. It was a perfect ending to a stressful day!

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Hi there, I think they're doing a great job with adhering to local regulations and then some. Indoor tables are well-spaced and no more than 6 are allowed. I think Maryland is allowing restaurants to be at 75% capacity but Cornucopia is effectively at 50%. Employees are required to wear masks at all times, and guests are as well, unless seated at their table and consuming their meal. Some items like salt and pepper shakers have been replaced with single use items to prevent contamination. Menus are sanitized after use, and of course tables and chairs thoroughly cleaned. In warmer weather there is ample outdoor seating, and they offer curbside pickup of course, too. There's more info on this on the website - http://www.thecornucopiacafe.com/an-update-from-our-team

Hi Elyse - thanks for voicing your concern. We do require our kitchen staff to wear masks, as it is the law. We will be sure to bring it up! Thanks!

Do they serve alcoholic beverages

Hi Thomas, I work for the restaurant. Great to see so many nice comments here! To expand on their comments, Cornucopia has a great selection of 8 rotating craft drafts from regional breweries and a few domestic bottles, along with a well-curated wine list. Their house beer is from Whitehorse Brewing Company not too far away, called Little Crossings Tavern Ale. No liquor, but it's a nice atmosphere.
