Beautiful Maa sha Allah
It is clean and spacious.
Classrooms for Islamic studies , conference room and cafeteria.
You should pray there when in Boston.

Very big and beautiful mosque. It was nice experience to visit this mosque for jummah prayers. Conveniently located near an orange line station
Has a good restaurant inside the mosque for some good food as well
It would certainly be respectful to cover your hair with anybsort of head scarf. But you wouldnt be turned away of you didn't - tje ISBCC is very welcoming, especially towards those whonare interested in learning more about Islam and the practice of this beautiful faith.

If you require an Islamic burial burial for for your mother I would suggest you contact the mosque and some can help you. 'A 'dhamallaahu 'ajraka, wa 'ahsana 'azaa' aka wa ghafara limayyitika.

Alaikom Salam. Offering a prayer 40 days after the death of a person is an innovation. It is not recorded that Prophet or his companions did such act. Best thing you can due for your son is to make dua.
