This was such an amazing experience!!! Even though the weather was rainy and a little chilly, our river guide Dan made the whole group feel comfortable! Most of us had never rafted before, but Dan answered all our questions and made us all feel safe. The company seemed very organized and prioritized safety, while maintaining a fun, happy, and chill environment. 10/10 would definitely come raft again! Thank you White Water Adventures and thank you DAN for a great experience!

Had an excellent time here! Was my first time white water rafting and we had SO much fun! Our raft guide, Dan, was absolutely fantastic. He was entertaining and so helpful, literally a life saver!! I 100% recommend him for a guide if you have the opportunity. The entire crew was super friendly and helpful too. Overall a great experience :)

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We did Lower Yough Guided trip for 3 hours & half (3 p.m.-6:30 p.m.) in Ohiopyle/ PA. It was Sunday 5/29/2022 with beautiful summer day (Sunshine). We had a group 15 persons. We also had 4 minors(11,12,14 & 15).These guys are awesome. Highly suggest getting guided. Tommy was our guide in my boat & he was AMAZING! I can't say enough about him and can't say enough about how fantastic our guides were. they kept us safe, more extremely, knowledgeable, patient & professional. the rapids were great, fun and we definitely got splashed. Also the photos they took were awesome! The changed rooms & restrooms at 188 Dinnerbell Road, Ohiopyle, PA 15470 so clean with hot water to take shower, just you need to bring your stuff (Shampoo, towels ..etc.) The driver for the bus was so funny and we really enjoyed the 20 minutes to back to the same location (188 Dinnerbell Rd.) We had our GoPro Max Camera & the staff provided my husband a special hat for this camera and it was safe and very good through whole the trip. We will definitely be back to try out the upper Yough next time. Thanks so much for your awesomeness!

We had a group of 9 and none of us but 1 had ever been white water rafting before. Us girl’s had Ryan for a guide and he was AMAZING! I can’t say enough about him. We tipped the raft in one of the rapids and he was so cool calm and collected which didn’t make any of us feel panicked at all and actually enjoyed the experiencing of swimming in the water. The other guides seemed to be awesome as well and our guys had an amazing trip with their guide as well! We will definitely be back to try out the upper and would request the same guides as before. Thanks so much for your awesomeness!

Questions & Answers

What is the rafting like in August

Bryan Bernard | Jun 26, 2021

The water levels in August do tend to be a little lower than you would find in the spring and early summer, but it is fine for rafting. The river is dam controlled so the corps of engineers tries to keep the river fairly consistent.
