The playground has been updated since the last time we went, and my son went there for the first time and loved it. The play area is fenced in and there is a lot of shade. The only problem is the bathrooms outside were locked and the rec center bathrooms were closed off. This is the only reason for 4 stars.

We went to this park for a plant festival for the city of st Petersburg. It was soooo busy that couldn't walk or shop. Hopefully next year they spread the exhibitors out more ,so it's not so crowded. Don't get me wrong I did drop alot of money and could of spent more but couldn't move.

Very nice park with numerous soccer fields and a scenic trail around a pristine lake.

I visited the park area with my family recently. There is a very nice fenced-in playground for the kids. There are also plenty of benches, picnic tables, a shelter and shade trees. It would be a beautiful place to spend the day in the spring or fall.
