Trifecta! This joint perfectly nailed the big three: (1) — food; wide variety on menu; scored very well in terms of flavor for everyone in my party; (2) — service; fast and attentive; friendly conversation, as well; (3) — ambiance; nothing but positive vibes emitting from the stylish interior and fellow diners… the joint was hopping! This review based on my first and, so far, only visit. It’s my new #1 and was definitely the foodie highlight on my semi-annual pilgrimage from Louisville. Looking forward to my next visit.

As always, the food was so delicious! I had one of the egg scrambles with GF toast and roasted sweet potatoes. The menu is very allergy friendly and labeled well. Plenty of options for everyone!

I’m pretty disappointed with the food. I definitely choose restaurants carefully based on reviews. I thought this would be a good choice for me and my family who were visiting in the area. The Pancakes were good that’s about it. Eggs were runny. They charge $1 for onions on your eggs and the onions are literally chopped onion poured on top of eggs not cooked in the eggs. The red potato’s DO NOT look like red potatoes. See picture. Presentation was not good of red potatoes and eggs. I thought they were bringing something different when they brought out the red potatoes it looked like some were eaten. They have no turkey produce only some plant based meat. Our initial server was nice. We asked if we could sit inside and we then didn’t have a sever to check on us to ask for refills. Give us silverware etc. overall not a positive experience and I would not be back to visit. Not a highly recommended breakfast restaurant.

I have been to Sleepy Bee many times in the past 4 years. Short version of my review is: good food, good service, nice ambiance, reasonably priced, not great parking. Longer version: The service is always friendly and relaxed, and kids are welcomed with coloring activities to keep them busy while adults settle in. The environment is always welcoming, between the bright decor and the harmonious mood of the clientele. Right now with pandemic precautions, the distance between tables makes visits more comfortable; the staff always wear their masks, as well. The food is of great quality ingredients and locally sourced items. For the most part, my culinary experiences here have been positive. However, some dishes are not well executed—they may be too dry, too soggy, too bland, or too complex. Trying new menu items feels like a risk—either I will be pleasantly surprised or totally disappointed. And for someone who is always interested in trying new things, that unpredictable result makes me hesitant. Parking was a challenge in peak times before pandemic, and doesn’t seem much better mid-pandemic.

They have you wear masks and they clean after every table is cleared tables are spaced far apart from each other . The waitresses and staff all wear masks and most wear gloves and are polite and friendly. The food was great.
