A great road trip to include a visit here. The water views are out of this world, one can easily close your eyes for a moment and transport back in time. There are many pavilions that can accommodate large groups, restrooms and plenty of lush trees with access to kayak. Bring your bikes as the trail goes past the park boundaries. I wish I had brought a quilt and picnic. There is a historical marker you must read. If I had transported myself back in time, I would have met my great grandfather who was Phillippe so this park holds special meaning to me. I prob so t get the chance to visit here again so I left no trace, taking my memory with me forever.

Beautiful park. I love the expansive water view and lush greenery. If you're adventurous enough to put your feet in the water [🙋🏽♀️] you can walk out on the boat launch. It seems like a popular place to just sit and have lunch while appreciating a gorgeous day.

Absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful parks I've been to, and it's FREE. Trails go throughout a huge park, with beautiful water and trees and nature. Even the man made sections fit so well in the park and look amazing. Most places only have stairs though, so be careful with wheelchairs.

Very nice, clean park. Little bit of a drive from Tampa but we’ll worth it. If you approach a large tree with photographers around it….it’s an owl they are taking pictures of…with a baby..as of 2/8/22. Also have paddle boards you can rent. Will definitely be back!!

There is charge for that in the boat loading area, to the left as you get in
I've gone longboarding and biking several times in this park with no issues so I'm sure a onewheel would be okay.
Yes. Friendly for EVERYONE of every ability
Yes, past the boat launch a short ride. Picnic tables and kayak rental
They are done
The truth is Indian tribe all over tampa is sacred and keeps evil and storms from areas in tampa area so just believe and no worrys
Yes. They have picnic tables in sheltered patios with small charcoal grills on posts that you can use. You can also use your own grill if you like
Lovely hangout for a get together for family fishing etc.
Oak trees of a few different types. Spanish moss is not a tree, but I'm sure you knew that👍
Yes they are. I see them there all the time. Just take home or throw out when done.
Yes, but across from the playground there is one that is on a first come basis.

I've seen people fishing
Yes, of course
And
Yes, the mom has. Was there today and she was moving around
I think Park closes at sundown. Maybe possible to get a special authorisation? you'd have to ask the park services.
Yeah I don't see why not.
First left at 4way stop
No, thank goodness they don't.
I would pick 5 it's by the water and it's got a bathroom near by.
