An incredible story behind a very unique and extremely interesting castle on the banks of the Little Miami river. If you've never been here, take the time to come visit and learn about Mr. Andrews who built the place with little help, by hand, using medieval building techniques. Nothing else like this around anywhere and learn about the Knights of the Golden Trail. There is a video on loop in part of the castle that tells the story and the history. The story behind the castle is very compelling and this castle is something to experience and explore.

Dogfriendly!! Yay! The road to the castle is very steep, downhill. The man selling tickets, $5 per adult, was helpful. The castle appeared to be larger on the outside than inside. There are 2 levels with the 3rd level being the roof. The stairs going from level to level is spiraled with very high steps. Be careful. Each room is interesting. I didn't spend a lot of time learning the history and looking at everything. I was interested to see how the interior looks like. The knights seemed creepy to me. I did enjoy the view looking down from the castle balcony on the 2nd floor by the dining room. When leaving the castle, the uphill climb was very steep. I had to step on it to get my car, SUV, to keep climbing. The road is very narrow, barely for 2 average size cars. Not sure what to do if you have a huge truck that you need to pass in certain area of the road.

Very fun and educational place for the whole family! We really enjoyed being able to look around this beautiful castle and the grounds as well as hearing the history of how it was built and why from the knowledgeable staff. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes to see everything so it wasn't something that took a super long time but it was well worth the trip for the experience and fun learning about local history. Definitely recommend!

Honestly only just found out this location existed and it was a fun experience. You are able to explore the grounds as well as inside the castle. Everything is on display minus a few locations closed off/behind a gate. There is a fair amount to see and information to learn. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend visiting!
