Great place to have a beer and chat with locals and the manager, Dale. It’s a “salt of the Earth” atmosphere and people are generally friendly to each other. I don’t buy gas there so I can’t comment on that experience, but the bar and beer selection inside is what makes this a gem. If you’re looking for a fancy cocktail or a rare beer, you’ll be disappointed as that’s not their venue. The other staff members also make the experience memorable and they are always there to help.

Do not bother going after 9pm if you want gas or anything else. Not friendly, no mask on person who was apparently working there, even though the door is plastered with mask signage. Was not looking to help me or serve anyone. Not sure if it was a Marathon employee or Growler Stop employee or both but it was my first and last time going there, even though it's a pretty convenient location for me.
