Really wanted to like this place but it was a swing and a miss. Decent service but the food and drinks were lacking. The guac made table side was awesome, but everything else seemed like it sat in the window too long. The meat was tough, beans lackluster, and the drinks too sweet. We’re talking Taco Bell/microwave dinner quality here. A real bummer. Hopefully we were just there at a not so great time.

Absolutely horrible experience this past Saturday evening. Service was good but the food was very bland and not tasty. I ordered the exact same tacos I did last time but this round was completely boring and disappointing. Both of our meals lacked any flavor entirely. I do not think I will be going back after this time.

The art and other materials displayed around the restaurant to illustrate the culture was beautiful. Waitstaff was friendly but they are extremely understaffed. We waited to be invited in as well as for for the food. The refried beans were nice. The chicken was a little tough. The rice was cooked nicely but the taste was unusual. The cheese quesadilla was pretty good.

Stoped I’m for lunch when in Tampa. Restruant is good for any size party with friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were offered chips and salsa. The salsa was mostly smashed tomatoes with some salt so ordered the fresh guacamole, which is awesome! The lunch items we ordered weren’t anything special, if I make it back to the area maybe I will try this place again and see if any of the other menu options change my rating.
