I just visited Dunedin for my first time ever for a big wedding, and I went to Salon GW on a recommendation from the bride. I am terrible at styling my own hair for formal events, and this wedding was a big to-do, so I needed to be dressed to the nines. I couldn't be happier with the style that Krista gave me- she'd never met me before, yet after a couple of loose descriptions and quick back and forth of ideas, she gave me the perfect updo that was exactly what I wanted. My hair usually doesn't hold curl very well, but Krista's hairstyle stayed red carpet ready until the very last dance! If you want a responsive, communicative, and style savvy person, make sure you book with her. You won't regret it!

I brought my girls in for haircuts and styles. Krista did an amazing job on my youngest and Izzy did an amazing job on my oldest!! I highly recommended both stylist, they are very talented!! 👏

Izzy made me look like berries and cream boy. I just finished growing my bangs in for the last year and they were below my chin sort of like curtain bangs. I asked for curtain bangs like what I had just with shaping and showed her pics. I left with strawberry shortcake bangs. Super disappointed and will definitely never return. She was super sweet though but honestly I don’t know how she confused curtain bangs like Jennifer Aniston with like fifty shades of grey girl bangs. To add to it. I have been wearing hats every day to cover the “curtain bangs” since they are atrocious. I decided to try and style them for the first time today and noticed I have a bald spot… I see hairs that are like short and broken and or missing all together???? I haven’t used heat since my botched hair cut. My hair did not look like that before. Really disappointed that I payed 200 dollars to wear hats for six month while my ugly bangs and missing hair patch grow back.

One of the happiest days of my life is making the decision to get my pixie cut. I was SO fortunate to have found Krista at Salon GW. I see her regularly now and she does such a wonderful job it’s hard to think about growing it out again! I’m in love with my short hair. Everyone there is so kind. The energy is great, and I couldn’t recommend it more!
