Terrible customer service! Ordered $60+ worth of food through DoorDash and the restaurant calls to tell me that to make a “special” order I have to pay more. The woman explains that adding snap peas to 2 of the items would be $1/each and then proceeded to tell me that it will be a $5 total charge and I need to pay over the phone. Since she had already broken down the cost explanation, I wasn’t sure why she was trying to charge me $5 (my guess is to cover the credit card processing fee). She continued to argue with me talking in a very belittle way asking if I knew that snap peas are $3/lb right now and I can’t just be making special orders and not expect to pay. I’m not an unreasonable person but the condescending attitude just wasn’t necessary. Now that my order has arrived I can add that it wasn’t even made correctly. Thanks Chen’s Garden for ruining our night.

This is not going to be pretty. If you've saved up because you're budgeting or middle class or even possibly in a bracket of wealth. What do you expect or even recognize as an expectation of what's expected or just plain waste. Mmmm Service moody,pushy. Food bring,just average as you're worst Chinese restaurant...as most Chinese restaurants in Manchester. I will give the benefit of the doubt it was good a year ago. Overpriced. Lastly,covid or what ever else humans can carry, was evident all over the menus. My palate was mortified....especially for the money.

Service was good but the food was not. They have a lot of good reviews though, so I will likely try them again and order something else. They have a nice bar area and a decent amount of parking.

Amazing service! Our waiter was so amazing! Very kind! I have a pork & shellfish allergy. They worked very hard so I could enjoy my meal just like everyone else. Very accommodating! Everything we ordered was so tasty! Although the crispy sesame chicken was a big hit at our table.
