Waiting in the emergency room wasn’t bad, once back in the room we noticed there was a suction canister on the wall full of fluids, the bedside table and floor was wet with some kind of fluids, and the call light was never given to my husband. We had to tell the staff the room was unkempt with another persons bodily fluids still in the room! YUCK!!! So much for COVID precautions as this was for pulmonary suctioning. People were strewn about common areas awaiting for help all the while staff are sitting on their butts at the nurses station and not answering call lights or alarms! The doctor was in and out and no nurse arrived until time for discharge. The nurse was very sweet and performed prompt discharge. Overall so so experience

From scheduling time, to the time of our arrival at Manatee Hospital, the entire staff, from processing, admissions and the Heart Center, made us feel very comfortable. The nurses got me ready for my procedure so, I was ready to go when the Surgeon called for me. The Surgeon himself, stopped in to explain to us what was going to happen and what he was doing during the procedure. That helped put us at ease. The procedure took less than an hour. I was taken to the recovery room where my boyfriend once again joined me. The longest amount of time was spent in recovery. They (the Staff) wanted to make sure it would be totally safe for me to go home. I would higly recommend checking into Manatee Hospital's Heart Center if, you need a heart procedure done. Thank you Manatee Hospital and all the great staff that work there.

I've had many hospital experiences. I just had a double hernia repair on 3/22/22. It was by far the best hospital experience I've ever had. They were very busy in the pre-op area. They didn't have any beds available when I got there but I didn't have to wait long. Even as busy as they were it didn't take any attention away from me. The nursing staff was very efficient and professional. They also knew how to lighten the mood by joking a little. The anesthesiologist was also great. When I woke up after surgery I wasn't dizzy and or nauseous. It was like waking up after a nap. The discharge nurse was very polite and very efficient. It seemed like maybe 15 minutes after waking up I was ready to go. They didn't rush me but they were quick with their job and had everything ready before I woke up. Thank you Manatee Memorial Hospital!!!!!

Came here yesterday with my MIL. Early morning but already there were a number of EMT vehicles stacked up with patients. It didn't seem to be the fault of the staff, rather just a huge influx of people. Triage seemed to be doing a good job. The ER staff was very busy and still made room for me. When I left that night the ER waiting room was swamped. There was quite a backlog and it took a long time for my MIL to get a room. We are in the Stroke ward today. A great bunch of attentive, knowledgeable professionals. To me they are providing excellent care. I know what is going on and why. Best part my MIL is having very good results. The nurses here even offered ice for my knee since I had it replaced three weeks ago. I have nothing negative to relate. The experience so far has been good.

While patients can go to any floor after a surgery, generally they would go to the fourth floor. Make sure to check in with security and get a visitors tag and the front desk can tell you exactly which room your mother is in.

Satisfied!
Hello Marco, yes we have Urologist on site. You can call and make an appointment.
Hello, The state did use our facilities to run this monoclonal clinic at Manatee for many months this year. Unfortunately, they discontinued the services and treatment December 17, 2021. The closest locations that provide the state run monoclonal treatment clinics are in Clearwater, Tampa and Fort Meyers.
7:00AM by MOB entrance
Levels of care in the ER are on a scale of 1-5 and depend what services were done and acuity of patient. Level 1 is the highest acuity for events such as cardiac and stroke emergencies. Most ER patients seen at our hospital are a level 3.
MOB entrance - southeast corner near ambulance Bay, facing intersection of Manatee Ave and 2nd St
Call them and ask to speak with some one in finance.
Early 7 am or so.
Hi, Vanessa. We recommend you reach out to your pediatrician directly; otherwise, you are welcome to call our MOMM’s Place at 941-745-6925 with any questions you may have. Thank you!
Ask your Dr. They know best.
Manatee takes all patients. No matter what you need to be seen for. The only thing hospitals can't help with is dental issues.
That's horrible ...I grew up here and went to e r many times and was always kicking screaming and the tide me down to do procedures..stitches in my chin .I was 7 years strapped down . Just head open 9 strapped down.maybe presently they call it abuse .
Normally about 30 minutes in the waiting room. HOURS in the back.
It is better to take it to a pediatrician's clinic or to a Children's hospital like all children
I'm not sure but if you call their billing office they should be able to give you a estimated or average cost.
MMH's parent company is UHS. There are UHS facilities in Massachusetts near Boston.
If you are asking about the H2U Classes, I'm pretty sure they have some , but they are not at the hospital. You would need to go get a schedule from an H2U center near you. They are all different. Dont forget GT Bray also has classes available
I think so
Yes, I believe so. Call the main phone number for the hospital and they can give you more information.
I don't think so, but last time i was in the hospital, they cut me a deal if i paid what I owed them, while I was on my death bed.

That's something that you would have to ask the family. HIPAA regulations would not allow the hospital to answer any questions.
Not allowed to give out that type of information
it is the new building.
I believe still a D, but Blake is also a D. Blake almost killed me. Manatee Memorial didn't. I would go back there if I had to
It's the county hospital, so id say yes. Double check before going in there though
There is a few motels on 14th st. They are not next to the hospital but would be cheaper than Marriott. You could also check out Airbnb. Maybe someone has a place close to Manatee Memorial you could rent. You have to have a credit card and pass a background check to rent from Airbnb. I would choose that option if you have a credit card. It is easy to use.
There are several. Check the hospital web pages for a listing of affiliated doctors
That would be a question for your doctor.
Im sorry, ive never heard of that. I think you should try to Google it. I would have it done there before i would let Blake do it.
I would have to agree with the other 2 reviews but since this is 2 different things (im guessing) alcohol and some kind of drug, the detox process is different for both. They wouldn't cut you off cold turkey. That would be dangerous. I'm guessing whoever needs to do this would check in at the hospital and when a bed opens, they would be transferred to Cornerstone. Ive seen this with my father many times before the one that took his life at 55. Please don't mess around and you or whomever it is, check into the hospital and like i said i would guess the person will be transferred to cornerstone for the correct detox. Good Luck
Most hospitals take all insurance. If you live here, you would be in network
An er is not a detox facility. Hospitals don’t do detox. Call a detox hotline.
For my husband. 175 pounds. Hernia repair
I believe around 7 or 8
No
Depends on the doctor and medicine
Hospitals have social workers in them
