Clean atmosphere and surroundings, despite neighborhood is low income, filled with drugs and homelessness. Price are higher than those of larger chains stores. However, they offer ethnical items that are not widely available. Staff are Friendly and happy to serve regardless of language barrier. This place serves amazing food, mostly meat. I ordered the whole-fish and yuca. The staff is mostly people from the Dominican Republic (DR), so I assume this food is DR food. I paid 10.50 for a whole fish and a lot of yuca. See my image. Not super cheap, but very tastey. Se puede hablar español aqui si le guste. Service was good enough. They tolerated me asking a thousand questions. I highly recommend this place because the food is really good and also unique.

If they have the ones that come in boxes made in the refrigerators on the left side of the store. All speak Spanish.
