General RV was wonderful from start to finish. There was no pressure to purchase at all. Our salesman Guy was a pleasure! He made sure I had exactly what I wanted without compromising anything. He even went above and beyond with my son to make him feel like he was part of the process. I have nothing but good things to say about Guy! We will be sending in our family members to him in the future!

Update: Three months after purchasing our Brand new unit from General RV we finally have a brand new awning! They out of good will replaced a defective awning on a unit that should have 364 days left on the warranty? Time will tell if the extended warranty I purchased is worth the paper it’s printed on! A few tips I learned through this adventure. 1) don’t bother calling they never return calls. 2) email only and cc the general manager in those emails. 3) the call backs will be 5 minutes before they leave on vacation! PROPS OUT to the hard working service techs they did a great job installing the new awning!!!!Avoid this rv dealership like the plague! Bought a brand new unit last month. The awning broke after ONE use. I was assured the warranty process was started just wait and a service advisor will contact you. I waited almost a month with no response. Called them back no one was aware of my issue. Now all I get are voicemails and no return calls. Don’t believe me? Just read some of there yelp reviews, I wish I had! This is a horrible horrible place!!!!!

I wish there was an option to post less than one star on this place. Initially when we arrived here it seemed like it would be amazing. We picked a trailer we wanted. We explained to the staff that we were still living in GA and would be wanting the unit when we moved down. Everything was good with them. So they gave us the numbers for the trailer and we left after putting a $500.00 deposit down to hold the unit. For a WEEK we tried to contact them to begin the paperwork for the unit. When we finally asked to speak to a manager they gave us a new financial advisor. The ENTIRE experience there was a lack of communication. They said they would overnight us paperwork and it wasn't until we called the day after it was supposed to arrive that they said they were sending it late. They gave wrong reports to everyone involved. We were assured that if we didn't buy the trailer that we would get our deposit back. Once we finally received paper work on it the price of the trailer had gone up $5,000.000. Once we saw that we backed out and called saying we would be taking our business elsewhere and that we would like our $500.00 deposit back. They are now refusing to return our deposit and nobody will pick up the phone or call us back. I wish with all my heart I would have read the reviews before going. So many other people are going through the same or similar issues with these people. they attempt to be friendly but once you start doing business with them they just take from you and claim they can't answer or call you back because they have other customers to take care of. I am happy that we didn't make the mistake of buying from here!!.

The general RV center staff was very informed about their product line. They offered a very good deal on purchasing a new class C RV. I would highly recommend general RV center for your recreational vehicle needs. Don't wait until the pricing will go even higher. If you thought about buying one, go buy it! There are some very good deals out there before they're all gone.
