I love the appointment ability now adays with Tax and License. I got my 9A appointment on line. Was immediately met by a nice woman confirming my appointment and by 9:01A I am sitting in front of Carmina. Carmina was awesome. She had me with my new tag and title within in 20 minutes. Great job Manatee County Tax Collector!

Thank you so much, Chris W was awesome, he helped me validate my address so I could continue with my transaction as planned. Without his kind courteous professionalism, I would not have gotten everything done. He is an absolute asset to your team. Thank you all for all you do for our community, as it doesn’t go unnoticed!

I wish I had taken the time to write this review when I first visited because I forgot the name of the gentleman that helped me. He explained he was new and still training which did not interfere with his service. I didn't mind it took a little bit of extra time because when it came time for me to take my license photo, this man was a true MVP because he told me, to go and sit for another picture since the camera caught me at an odd angle. Shout out to that man for my license glamor shot, not all heroes wear capes, sir!

The state sent a letter to renew my license not explaining I needed to set up an appointment online. The staff was incredibly cordial and even made an exception to help me get things straightened out on the same day. Kelly G. made the process a breeze and made me feel like a person instead of a nuisance holding a ticket stub.

First, if you obtain a Florida ID, it cancels out any Driver License you may have in another state - so be sure you really want an ID. Obtaining a Florida ID also cancels out a Florida driver license. Second, you need the same documents as if you were getting an driver license - US Passport or original birth certificate, social security card or other proof of social security, and proof of your address in Manatee County. Items such mail addressed to you; bills with your name and address or lease, water bill etc. For more details on above, visit taxcollector.com Driver license fees Description $ Fee Original 54.25 Renewal 54.25 Replacement 31.25 Address change 31.25 Endorsement (each) 7.00 Upgrade learner to operator 6.25 Upgrade learner to operator – lost 31.25 Stolen – with police report 6.25 FWC lifetime license designation (optional) 9.25 to 55.25

This location is appointment only...you can schedule an appointment on their website taxcollector.com. However there is a registration renewal kiosk you can walk in and use. Also, First Manatee Tag Agency can process any motor vehicle transactions as a walk in... They're right up the street!
Unfortunately for the public it is very inconvenient to call them on the phone you are better off trying to get them online. I never did reach anyone on the phone I had to make an appointment online. Hope that helps
First make an appointment. Everyone I dealt with were helpful and pleasant. Go on line make that appointment.
Building labeled Drivers License on 301 Blvd by the bus station. They are by appointment only through www.taxcollector.com
Right now due to Covid the County Office is asking ppl to make appointments. We called /went online & set an appointment. . If you read the requirements for receiving a title , you can take the documents with you to the appointment. I needed to come back b/c I needed a marriage license . It is a bit complicated but ai think they are doing the best they can with Covid restrictions .
Not that I've seen. I made an appointment for DL renewal and filed out all paperwork online and was done in record time, under 20 minutes.
Normally, you need two pieces of official mail with your name and new address on it (paystub, bank statement, insurance info, etc). Many banks and insurance companies will automatically send you mail if you change your address online, or you can request it.
Not sure, but to be on the safe side, I'd say yes, make an appointment
Yes with the proper documentation
Did your name change more than once?
Depends on your car or truck Vin # and also if you have a regular or special tag and if you want it for one year or two years.
I don't know. All I posted was that the tax office was good handling a long line.

A title signed on back transferring ownership
If the trailer is less than 10 years old there could be a sticker on the driver's sidetrailer body. ... Usually a vehicle identification number(VIN) or serial number for atrailer is usually found on a plate or sticker on the trailerframe, most often on thetrailer's tongue.
