The kindness and knowledge are unmatched. My dog had a foot issue that had not responded to antibiotics from his regular vet. From the 1st triage call to our departure back home, our time with Dogs and Cats was powerful. As one sits and waits, the staff's professionalism, their protocols, and their love for pets are on display. They are committed to maintaining their relationships with local vets as an urgent/emergent referral center. They are excellent in teamwork. My pup's foot resolved in a matter of days. We are so thankful. Our community would be in a difficult place without Dogs and Cats.

Our sweet beloved pet needed to cross the rainbow bridge. We were told two days before so we took her home for a few days to say goodbye. When it was time my husband took her in. The staff were completely sensitive to how my husband and our sweet girl were feeling. They took my husband to the room and told him to take as much time as he/she needed. He laid there with her and fed her treats and made her relaxed. They told him to hit a button when it was time. The staff came in and made her feel comfortable and administered the first injection whice put her to sleep. Then they administered the second shot where she peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. The crematorium gave us these beautiful memories and urn.

They took great care of my cat. They were clear regarding cost, treatment, and there were no surprises. I also appreciated that they were very respectful during the decision process. They kept me updated and call me several times to let me know how my cat was doing. Both doctors I spoke too during my visit were excellent.

I am trying to find the right words to explain how incredibly well the staff here treated my dog. I had bought him in after being seen by 2 different veterinary clinics. He was so weak he couldn't hold up his own head. He had a massive seizure that lasted over 30 minutes. His fever reached above 108. It was a very scary few days but my dog is now recovering. I am really thankful for the love shown to him while he was there. The outstanding diagnosis. The complete testing. I highly recommend this hospital.

It would be a terrible emergency practice if it closed. The practice is open always.
Due to the increased demand on our Emergency Department, and our extended wait times, we have implemented online/mobile check-in for all walk-in and Emergency services. This check-in and registration method will allow our hospital to ensure that our patients needing the most urgent care are prioritized first and that our clients and patients with less critical needs can wait in the comfort of their homes, rather than in cars or in our hospital. As always, we will strive to keep you updated on wait times and will continue to provide communication to clients with pets in our care through phone calls and two-way texting capabilities.
I am not a vet so I couldn't really give an option on what your cat may need. I can tell you that I am truly happy that I took my dog there. He is doing so much better. It is a 24/7 emergency hospital and if you think your cat is in danger, they are a wonderful facility. Hope this helps.

Thank you for inquiring about our consultation fee. We are sorry to hear about your cat's ear infection, and would be happy to help. We do not hold regular appointments, so your pet would be seen by our emergency clinicians. Our emergency consultation fee is $160 (covers physical examination, consultation with emergency clinician, formulation of diagnostic and treatment plan and estimate for course of treatment). An estimate of cost would be provided for any additional diagnostics or treatments necessary once your pet has been evaluated by a doctor. Walk-ins are welcome. However, if you do have a veterinarian that your pet sees regularly, you may wish to call and schedule an appointment with them, as we will recommend that you follow up with your regular veterinarian beyond the initial emergency visit.
While my dog was on medication he was told to drink a lot of water and eat only wet food (since that contains water). It definitely helped him use the bathroom.
