Believe the negative reviews! My dogs came home in awful condition. We were charged for services not done. The vet technician Conveniently lost our paperwork with specific instructions on what treatments needed to happen.

Price Gouging/Unethical. We have been long time customers at Gambrills Veterinary Center, and have always felt that Dr. Orenstein was honest and offered good care. The staff has always been friendly to our dog. We have even used them for boarding when we go away. However, things have recently changed. Just today I dropped my dog off as we have to board a flight. My dog is almost 15 years old and is on medication. The team calls me HALF AN HOUR AFTER WE LEFT to state that they were now going to administer an extra $30 a day charge in order to give my dog medicine. We obviously couldn't say no, as the medicine is for heart disease. But we have boarded him in the past, as recently as a few weeks ago, and never had to pay a charge. The person on the phone stated that this is a new policy as of June 1 (not true; we boarded in June) and that we had to pay it. My options were to agree to this bogus charge that they seemingly just created, or to let my old dog go without the medicine that he needs in order to live. This has become an extremely unethical practice that takes advantage of its customers with geriatric pets. I will never go back, and I would advise the same to anyone else.

Oh yes, believe the negative reviews. FIVE days to talk to the Dr. about a very sick diabetic cat. EIGHT days to speak to him and then be told he was "busy." I also got a lecture my vendor choice was too expensive, although IT WAS THE LEAST! Maybe they have not lifted Covid restrictions because they don't want you to be inside with your pet. My Cat has lost two more lbs waiting for meds that should have been quick. I CALLED EVERY DAY! I was promised EVERY DAY. I rarely write negative reviews. Well this one is AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They are not professional. Oh and the Vet Tech is condescending.

Don’t believe the negative reviews. This was my first time going there because my normal vet was overbooked. I’ve been to two other vet centers in the area and I’m so happy my dog was seen by Dr. Orenstein. He’s absolutely amazing and by far the one of the most intelligent and best Veterinarians I have ever met, and I know several. Yes it took some time, but don’t you want the doctor to be Thorough and absolute on a diagnosis. The staff was amazing everybody was so nice and helpful. All the customers I saw left satisfied with a smile. I can’t say enough about this place . A+ in my book.
