Dr Sheffield and her staff are wonderful. They worked with me and always provided an estimate (very reasonably priced) of any tests/charges. They were gentle and kind. When I had to put my cat down, Dr Sheffield was kind, gentle, hugged me and got teary -eyed. They have been fantastic to work with.

The veterinarian is very sincere and honest with your pets. She tells it the way it is you just have to trust her. She is an outstanding veterinarian. The front department is excellent also. The veterinarian assistance also do a great job.

This was my first time visiting the Pet Clinic. Even though I don't like curbside service (I'd much prefer to wait inside and meet the staff), I was impressed with the time Dr Sheffield spent explaining what treatment she recommended for my Lab, and why. I'm sure she and her staff don't like the curbside stuff any more than I do. I just think it's unnecessarily extreme. I will definitely return to this business.

Dr. Sheffield and all of her staff are awesome! They have taken care of our kitties since we moved here in 2016. I am very picky about our kitties care and I feel at ease with the entire staff. During the pandemic, I couldn’t go in with them and I felt comfortable with not being in the room with the babies. I knew they were in good hands.

Questions & Answers

My yorkie has been wheezing and coughing for four days now. It was intermittent but seems to be getting worse. Could it be hookworms?

Old question but for others. I think you mean heartworms that can cause a cough. But there can also be a lot of other reasons - kennel cough, influenza, collapsed trachea, or heart disease/murmur. You have a Yorkie, I'd guess either collapsed trachea or heart murmur. Hope they're doing well. Best is to bring them in to at least eliminate the worst possibilities.
