Wonderful facility. They all work hard to find new homes for all the homeless pets. Please donate whatever you can to help take care of these animals. Whether it's money, pet food, blankets, pet supplies or donations for their thrift store, it's all needed and appreciated.
Cynthia K
Up until today I would give them 5 stars. I am a regular donor of money, items and food. I don’t do it for any reason except to help animals but it was always nice to be greeted when bringing stuff in and thanked. Today I received neither.
Tina Ferguson
Great deals for my boys who go through harnesses ever week or so! You can get them for $1-$3. And other let accessories too! They have shot clinics every sat 1-3 and the vet is great!
Josh York
Absolutely phenomenal staff! They were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Gave us everything we needed to take our new family members home. And we’re there to answer any questions we had days following! If you’re looking to adopt your new friend check them out! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
I want to apply too. I’m going to call them in a little bit.
Yes they do.
Yes, on their website
They probably would take blankets, I'm not sure about pillows. It would be best to contact them directly.
I would call them
For the most part we ask foster families to care for puppies and kittens who are too young to go up for adoption. We also foster out animals with temporary medical needs. The only time we foster out healthy, friendly adoptable animals is if the foster family is going to campaign for them around town to get them adopted. Otherwise, we have so much foot traffic here at the shelter, that they can get adopted here faster.
As long as it's not expired and unopened, the odds are good. No harm in making the offer.
That's awesome that you found a list dog! I would call them or bring in the dog. I'm thinking privacy policy etc.. in regards to giving out owner's info. Just my thoughts.
I do not know any of the details but I saw posters for camp when I was there a few weeks ago, so yes. I would suggest calling or stopping in within the next few days.
A few dedicated volunteers will be there for them. The shelter is located in a secluded area and all the animals are secure. They need attention as they will receive it no matter the day or circumstance. Rest assured, all is well.
They have volunteer vets they are different that you can call ahead and say who the vet is
We are a full service, open admission shelter that never turns an animal in need away. We have an over 90% live release rate but we don't call ourselves "No Kill". We are honest. If animals have severe health issues or unchangeable behavior problems, we may have to euthanize. We are blessed to have a great staff so we are able to treat most problems and find animals homes. Thank you for your interest.
Yes, take him to the humane society. They're on Shelter Dr. 1st right past PC parkway if you're. Thank you for caring for him. northbound
Yes there was a beagle golden retriever there
Call them
I would call them directly? They may not see it here.
Their adoption fees are based on the age of the dog. Fees include spay or neuter, vaccinations and microchipped. I would call them directly if you have a specific pup in mind.
We are unable to provide these services for free, but we can do everything very inexpensively for you. Give us a call 445-1814 or come to our vaccine clinic Saturday at 1:00 & we will get you started. Thank you for helping the kitten!
Go shelter they can always use these items. If not they will see thrift shop get it
I think you should call for appointments..I know they give them to my dogs when I got they shots done..
We shelter homeless animals only. There are a couple of boarding kennels not too far from us and there are also several reputable pet sitters locally. Sorry that we couldn't be of more help to you. Thank you for thinking of us.
They doing how they can"
Hi Sandra, Not sure what you mean by payment. Here is my phone number directly to my desk. 386-246-7684. Call me & I can answer any questions. Thank you. Amy
I think it's $25
You can try asking neighbourhood watch on Facebook or market place
I would stay in touch with human society flagler. That are great
Yes, please let us know if there is anything that we might be able to help you with so that you could keep him, rather than lose him. Please call Kyndra our intake manager to discuss and arrange.
We are open for adoptions. The shot clinic is still closed temporarily, should be opening soon.
Hi Joan, Not sure if anyone already answered your question....without the covers we probably wouldn't use the beds. The dogs get tempted by the stuffing and they would probably chew it up. They would probably have a blast, but it could be a mess. Thank you for thinking of us though. We appreciate you!!!
Yes, please call us to schedule an appointment. 386-445-1814. Call between 10 & 5 & we will get you all set.
Yes we do. If they are really nice and sale-able, we ask that you drop them off at our thrift store- 480 SW Palm Coast Pkwy (by Sherwin Williams). Proceeds from the thrift store help us provide care for the animals. If the blankets & towels are stained or torn we can still use them at the shelter. Thank you for thinking of us!
Yes
Sorry, but no.
Should call them frist and make proper arrangements
The fee for euthanasia is $60. Cremation costs depend on the weight of the pet and the type of urn you pick. I’m so sorry that you are having to go through this. It’s always a difficult decision but with your circumstances it must be even tougher. We are open seven days a week to help. Please call to schedule when you are ready. Take care.
Hi Hayden! It's wonderful to hear that you want a very early start as a volunteer. It took me until I retired to volunteer to foster litters of kittens at home! (We adopted 3 out of all the babies we raised thru several years😁) It's lots of work and tons of joy. You can't find nicer staff to help you get started. Best of luck, Wren
We have wellness clinic appointments on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. I am away from the book right now so I cannot check. But usually we are booked at least a couple of days in advance. Is she still eating and drinking? If she’s not eating and not drinking you may need to have her seen before we have an open appointment.
If you want a Guinean pig, I have one. It is a gray and white look boy. I am looking for a nice person to adopt my Guinean pig because my homestay doesn't allow me to have a pet. if you still want let me know please.
Surgery drop offs are between eight and 8:30. Surgery is by appointment. We have not had night drop off cages for years. Those were only to be used by good Samaritans who found animals at night. Surgery drop offs have to be done in person so that papers can be signed etc. If you call the lobby we can get you more details. 386-445-1814 ext 509 or 510. Thanks for wanting to help feral kitties.
No they don't want to save the pets that back
Yes, please give us a call to schedule. 386-445-1814. Extension 509 or 510. I’m sorry that you’re having to make this difficult decision.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It depends on what it is and if it is unopened. If you are close by and want to drop it off, we can take a look and might be able to use some or all of it. Thank you for thinking of us during this difficult time.
The society does not provide that service, however several of our volunteers have pet sitting businesses. Give me a call tomorrow 386-246-7684 and I’ll be happy to give you contact information for some folks that I would definitely trust with my own pets.
Yes I think so
Yes. I believe there is a minimal cost involved but well worth it. One of the saddest parts of visiting a shelter is the disproportionate number of pitbulls and mixed breeds such as Staffordshires. Most people must choose between a place to live and keeping their pets. This breed is unfairly labeled as aggressive. Spading/neutering is the best recourse.
Both
$12.99 We have vaccine clinics every Saturday between 1:00 and 3:00pm
Hi Lynette, The surgery is $40, but call our lobby to discuss vaccines and if you want feline leukemia testing. You will also have to make an appointment for the surgery so call 386-445-1814 ext 510. Thank you.
Yes, the shelter will help, either by taking the dog in or possibly helping you get in to a place where you can keep him.
You can always call and make sure
Good.place. . to get. A. . Pet
Seriously you want to take the dog you have now and trade him/her in on one smaller ???? would you trade one of your children ??????
We have a Wellness clinic but we are pretty booked up. Call me at my desk and we'll see what we can do. 386-246-7684.
We have a food bank and we provide low cost vaccines, wellness and surgery services. Call us if you would like details. 386-445-1814.
Yes
Yes nails not grooming petsmart and they should be able to tell you
Sorry for the delay in response. Yes we do perform Humane euthanasia for sick or old pets at their owners request. You are encouraged to stay with your pet if you wish. We have a skilled and compassionate medical team. We’re open seven days a week so call us if you need to schedule this once you’ve made the difficult decision. 386-445-1814. So sorry that you are having to face this.
We ask for a surrender fee to help cover some of the costs associated with care. If you bring complete medical records that helps. If we don't have to provide vaccine`s, heartworm test, dewormers, sterilization surgery etc, then we don't ask for as much of a surrender fee. Is there anything that we could assist you with that would help you to be able to keep the pet?
I can tell you that if these cats are in their care then they are getting the best possible care. This facility not only provides for their animals health concerns but for the animals emotional care. The staff loves these future pets as much as they love their own pets. You can call or stop by for specifics on any animal.
We don't have any chihuahua pups right now. A couple of chihuahua adults, but not pups. Please come visit everyone though.
Yes
Thanks for your interest in helping animals. Ten is awfully young and we have some big, unruly dogs. Our concern is always keeping everyone safe. Would ya'll be interested in working with the kittens? Or perhaps another form of volunteering? If you are interested the first step is attending one of our volunteer orientations. Please give volunteer coordinator, Lynn Myers a call 445-1814 ext 507. Thank you!!!!!!
Next Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00.
I live in Flagler county but I will travel if I have to
Puppy are hard to get at one of theres places more likely could find a mixed bread at one of the place and asking them to to keep a eye open for one one these a they will work with you
We get a lot of little ones like that. I love your request because most people only want the young dogs and the poor older ones have so much love to give yet they get looked over. Please give our adoption specialist a call. Her name is Savannah 386-445-1814 ext 503. Thank you for your interest!!!!!!!
I know of several pet sitters. Most come to your home, so that the animal can stay in familiar surroundings. Give me a call and we can discuss. I'll give you a few phone numbers. My desk 386-246-7684 Amy
Yes we do, please come visit!
y'all need to get an x-ray machine
Yes, our officers responded to animal cruelty and neglect complaints on all species. We investigate and either help owners with their pets or confiscate and prosecute if need be. If you know of an animal in danger, please contact our office by phone. Thank you for caring.
They do. We adopted a little lab puppy there that was running wild. But check the Flagler Humane Society website online for information. There are also wonderful dogs who are already house trained who need homes.
? Have to call
No
George, go to the humane society thrift shop in PC. They will take the items, sell them and use the profits for the animals at shelter.
Where was this
50 to 100 dollars
This is to ask people how have been to the place questions the you should call the actual business and all an employee
They have all kinds, you can ask them to be on the lookout for you
I think $50. I would call them to verify. They come with all shots, spayed/neutered etc. Sometimes they have specials
