My mother has been hospitalized 4 times in the last 7 weeks. The Last 2 times she was sent to St. Pete General. The 1st time at the hospital, we were definitely beside ourselves, seeing her in the state she was in. The ER doctors were just simply amazing! There are no words that can express how they took such awesome care of my mom. She had a major turn around within hours. She went to ICU for abit. They treated her like a princess! She is in this hospital again. We still share the same sentiment. The staff from ER, nurses, doctors, assistants, therapy, just simply the best hands down. I want to give a shout out to the 300 wing! We are grateful for everything you have done and do! You are all compassionate, attentive, kind, and treat your residents like they are your own. You also are amazing to the family!!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart! The bottom picture is from the 1st time in and top 2 photos are from this time in. Thanks so very much, again

It was certainly a mixed bag. The ER nurse who met us in the ambulance bay at the ER was astonishingly unsympathetic. I was in so much pain and so nauseous and so miserable. He told me to settle down without uttering a word or offering a gesture of comfort. During my three--night stay I was tended to by several kind and patient nurses and I was aware that doctors on-site and off were monitoring my condition. However, my personal GI was never called by the on-call doctors at the hospital even though they asked for and I gave them his name at least three times. As I said the nurses seemed to be attentive but I was never offered a hospital gown to change into and left in the same clothes I came in wearing. My soiled sheets were never changed. The nurses were so slow to answer the calls of my roommate and me to stop the incessant beeping of the IV machines. I am aware that the nurses and doctors are busy but these issues need to be addressed

I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly, accommodating, and service oriented everyone on the staff was both before and on the day of my surgery...even the person who simply wheeled me from pre-op to Dan's Landing. They also displayed a respectful and caring camaraderie, particularly the surgical team. It made me feel at peace and more confident. This hospital's brand has been somewhat negative in the past, a reputation which for me personally, was not deserved.

Old used EKG equipment on soap dispenser in private ER bathroom, ants all over ER room, old medical tape from previous patients on ER bed. I would rate this experience 0/5 if possible. I could go on but Charge nurse doesn’t care.

It no longer has a chapel. They remodeled and did not include it in the remodel. Terrible!
The average ER wait time is posted on the front page of their website: https://stpetegeneral.com

Hi Angie. St. Petersburg General Hospital is not administering COVID vaccines. Please register with the Florida Department of Health. Thank you.
Use LabCorp at 3901 66th St. N. (less than 1 block from the hospital). If you don't have a script, go to Urgent care just south of the hospital (Baycare Walk in) get seen get script or call your own Dr who can fax the orders to the lab.

Yes they have a 3T MRI. in the hospital for, the ER, inpatient and outpatient services.
Sorry, but I'm not sure, since it is a specialty diagnostic machine it would be best to call first or ask a pulmonologist who works there.
Ultrasound and sonogram mean the same thing so the answer is yes
You need to contact Teytelbaum directly.
Smoking is allocated to the sidewalks surrounding the hospital
If you dont have insurance talk to a case worker that works there. I recommend Abby, she helped me take care of all my father's bills when he was there.
