My grandpa was there for three days after being released from ER. He was supposed to be on low sodium diet. Instead, they stopped bringing salt shaker with the meals. He was supposed to be on soft food. Instead they started feeding him pizza. He was also supposed to be on meds, to which they said they have don't have any meds for him, because they probably don't have a pharmacy. After three days, my grandpa was back in the ER.

My husband didn't have a choice of where to go after being released from the hospital. Had we known, he would have been better off anywhere else. I can't comment on the staff just the fact that most of his possessions were lost. His hearing aids, shoes, clothes eyeglasses, and most distressingly his wedding ring. Their response was more or less, took bad, we are not responsible.

If I could give zero I would. I have called a 24 hr facility over a dozen times and been answered only once. They immediately dispatched me to my father’s room without asking me if I wanted to speak to a doctor or nurse. I called back 10 more times only to hear the phone ring and hang up.

Changing a name doesn't change the bad reputation this place has and lives up to easily. MIKI STAKES the director will placate you and assure you your loved one is taken care of meanwhile you can never get a nurse on the phone to check in and, with going on 8 months of no visitation, I want to know how my uncle is doing. But no, you can never get anyone on the phone. My uncle is always calling asking me to send food because the dietary department is so bad there. I would give it zero stars but there are a few good apples. Olga, the activity person is so sweet and has such a kind energy. Their social workers Ashley and Christina are also very kind and get things done as well as a few of the aides like Summer. But the Director Miki is horrible and inexperienced. Send your loved one elsewhere.

Physical therapy (PT) examines, evaluates and treats patients with various disorders including musculoskeletal conditions, heart conditions, neurological disorders, wounds, and more. A PT also recommends devices that will assist the patient with function and mobility. Occupational therapy (OT) examines, evaluates and treats patients to afford them improved function in the performance of activities of daily living (ADLs). An OT might train a patient to use medical or adaptive equipment, provide splint fabrication, or perform neuromuscular re-education. OT also includes cognitive retraining associated with ADLs and safety, energy conservation techniques, and sensory deficit compression techniques. Speech therapy evaluates, diagnoses and treats disorders of communication, cognition and language. Sometimes, swallow studies allow for objective assessment of the swallowing function.

Instead a combination of support private funds, long-term care insurance and government assistance is used to cover the costs. Medicare covers post-hospital, short-term skilled care only and may not cover the cost of ongoing nursing home care.
