My mother and I visited Smileys on Mother's Day. Staff was greeted us as we entered and were friendly, welcoming and responsive. We both had the chicken parm, which was excellent! The homemade rolls were warm and delicious. What a great Mom and Pop place to eat. I can't wait to take my wife there the next time we are in Massillon.

Massillon’s downtown is creepin’ on a come up. It has beautified in the past few years and is nice to take a stroll through. As things continue to change, Smiley’s is still the small-town centerpiece, still going strong after many years. One of the best things here is how the staff take pride in their jobs and make you feel at home. Mr. Smiley himself works in the kitchen and is approachable; he’s an honor to talk to. The food is plentiful and I’m in love with their Alio Olio…I wanna dip my elbows in it…SOOO good. They have a big menu and you will leave stuffed like a teddy bear. I really like this place and definitely wanna come back (I live three hours away). Kudos to Mr. Smiley and his wonderful staff!!
